Knife Crime animation

Animated graffiti film for the Scottish Government’s anti-knife crime campaign.

Each frame was hand-painted onto walls in the areas of Glasgow most affected by knife crime. The shots were then stitched together into a stop-frame animation and put to music we commissioned from a local artist.

Myself and my art director pitched the idea, wrote and storyboarded the film and supervised its production.

Following its initial release, the film received funding to be shown in the cinema and projected onto public walls as an ambient stunt.
